A service plan like our monthly pest prevention is the only truly effective way to eliminate pests and prevent them from coming back.  This means that you won’t have a problem with any of the covered pests again — and if you do, Best Exterminating will come fix the problem- free of charge.

The issue with trying to identify the pest yourself is that there are thousands of types of insects in our area alone, each with different and similar characteristics. Our technicians are specially trained to not only eliminate pests, but to correctly identify them as well.

There are many factors that may cause a pest issue including, but not limited to:

• Houses move and settle, which can open up an area that will allow insects to enter the home.
• Ants feed on aphids and honeydew, which are located in your landscaping. So, doing any new landscaping can disturb a colony and make them move into your home.
• Construction nearby can move insects towards your home.
• Weather patterns can cause insect pressure.
• Visitors and foods brought into your home can also transport unwanted pests.

In most situations it will not be necessary to leave your home, but we will ask you to leave the immediate area where your pest technician is working. Utmost care is used in application and choice of pest control products. If it becomes necessary for you to be out of your home during a treatment, this will be arranged in advance for your convenience. 

Inexperienced applications of over-the-counter pest control products are usually ineffective and can also be unsafe for pets, children and adults if used improperly. Also, most pests return unless you take steps to prevent them. In as little as 30 days, new infestations can develop.
